About Pavel Shvets
Pavel Shvets is the first and only holder of the title "Best Sommelier of Russia" (2000), founder of the country's first biodynamic winery, Uppa Winery, and creator of exceptional wines.
A man who worked for 15 years in Moscow's finest restaurants before moving to Crimea to craft the wine of his dreams. His Uppa Winery is the only estate in Russia to obtain organic certification. His wines are not sold in supermarkets; they must be sought out — and found in places where the value of a moment is understood.
